Waitangi Day
Waitangi was another major success this year.
Only one single grumpy man muttering about the bible was in support of the genocidal apartheid state of Israel.
We All Know that Aotearoa stands with Palestine.
This was shown, once again, at Waitangi.
Flag waving at Kerikeri 7 February. The positive reaction from motorists was astonishing.
Palestine stall at Waitangi - fantastic response from tens of thousands who streamed past the stall going to and from the anniversary day event. Only one single grumpy man muttering about the bible was in support of the genocidal apartheid state of Israel.
Co-Chair John Minto catching up with Legends at Waitangi
Majority of American Jews are Not zionist
You can find the article here.
“Only 37% of American Jews consider themselves Zionist. 62% said they were either anti-Zionist, non-Zionist, or that neither label applied to them. If you asked any Jewish communal leader what they thought the percentage was, their answer would be 80-90%. Other related results found that less than half of Jews under age 44 said Israel made them “proud to be Jewish.”
Israel Lobby groups assume that Jews imbibe Zionism like their mother’s milk. The ideology is, according to common conception, almost inbred in Jewish DNA. This survey shows this is not so, and that Israel itself is causing Jews to peel away from Zionism.
There’s another misguided claim by anti-Semites and Zionists alike, that “95%” of Jews are Zionist. The true number, as reported above, is less than a third of that. The larger figure is based on a poorly-formulated Gallup poll that asked if the respondent had a “favourable view of Israel.” As noted here, Zionism and Israel are not the same thing. Meaning that a favourable view of Israel does not equate to being Zionist.“
That’s in the US.
We Know that a growing Majority of Jews here in Aotearoa, even given vicious zionist pressure here, are Rejecting zionism and embracing a core Judaism value of Universal Human Rights.
Phil Goff calls out Winston Peters
Oh dear.
Phil Goff was interviewed by Jack Tame on Q&A last Sunday. You can see it here.
Phil did not sugar coat it when it comes to Winston Peters. He told the truth as he sees it from observing Winston for more than 30 years.
So many Quotes. . .
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The downside of doing nothing is like doing nothing to the playground bully. You only encourage him. Silence is not neutral, it's permissive. What we need to do is stand up and say what is right in these occasions.
I think that what you do is you stand by your like-mindeds. The foreign minister had the chance to do that over the Middle East when the countries that we've normally stood beside such as the United Kingdom and Australia, the Scandinavians, Ireland, and so on. They said they would recognize a Palestinian state in the face of genocide and explicit comments by Israeli ministers that they wanted to ethnically cleanse Gaza. What did we do? We did the opposite. We broke from our standing alongside traditional friends and like-minded countries and we supported the Trump line.
When Trump said that the NATO led forces of which we were part and the United Kingdom were part were cowardly because they held back from the front line, even Starmer stood up and said that's insulting. That's not acceptable. It should be apologized for. What did we hear from our foreign minister? Did we hear even a whisper of a criticism? Not a thing. Now that's fundamental. We lost soldiers in in Afghanistan. They weren't cowards. They were on the front line. They died fighting for their country. And our foreign minister never said a word about the insult that was given to them by President Trump.
To what extent is your criticism of Winston Peters informed by the fact that he sacked you? - Oh, hardly at all. I never objected to being sacked. You know, I thought it was wrong. I thought he should have had the courage at least to ring me and say I'm going to dismiss you. No, he didn't do that.
I've worked with Winston Peters for 30 years in Parliament. Uh, I've seen the populism, the sort of talk about the Asian invasion. When I was Minister of Justice, he made accusations that the Asian population was committing a disproportionate amount of crime. Well, it was a disproportionately low amount of crime in this country.
I've seen that sort of dangerous populism directed on the basis of prejudice on race and immigration. And I'm seeing it right around the world at the moment. And that's not acceptable. That is simply not acceptable. you're playing with fire when you play that sort of low-level politics and he needs to be called out.
Winston Peters opposed the free trade with China which has been so beneficial to trade was in China's favour. Now it's in our favour and it's our largest trading partner. Never apologized for being wrong there.
(on the India Free Trade agreement) What Winston Peters is doing now is playing the race card again. Oh, it's going to we're going to have a flood of immigrants into the country. Well, the agreement doesn't allow for that.

Petition to the Government
PSNA is launching a petition to Parliament calling on Severing Relations with the State of Israel.
The wording of the petition is still held up within the Parliamentary petition system but we seem to be a couple of days away from being able to sign it.
The Petition:
Severing Relations with the State of Israel
Our Request
That the House of Representatives requests the NZ government to sever all relations with the State of Israel until Israel implements: 1) UNGA resolution 194 (III) – the right of return 2)The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Article 25 2 – right to vote, & 3)The House is satisfied Israel has implemented both 1&2
The Reason
1) In 1948, the United Nations General Assembly directed Israel to allow more than 750,000 Palestinians, it had just expelled through terror actions, to return to their homes in Palestine. NZ votes to reiterate the importance of this resolution in the UN every year. 2) Israel allows some Palestinians, inside all the land Israel controls, to vote in Israeli elections. But Israel refuses to allow most other Palestinians that right to vote – just like discrimination was in Apartheid South Africa

There is a QR code that takes people to the PSNA page which explains the petition.
We will let you know when the petition is approved and then It will be time to spread the word.
Zionist thuggery at Tamaki Makaurau Rally
At last Saturdays Rally, Three Israeli soldiers came towards the rally at Te Komititanga Square.
They boasted to the Kaiawhina, who spoke to them, that they were in the Israeli Military and that they had been in Gaza.
When the Kaiawhina took out a phone to take pictures, one of them assaulted her trying to rip the phone out of her hands.
Seems as if the violent and abusive attitude they have towards the Palestinian population in Palestine has come to Aotearoa.
Police were called as they hid out in McDonalds.
When they saw police being briefed, they tried to slither away out of Britomart onto Customs Street East. But police were quick to talk to them. I understand that they were told to keep on walking and Not to return to the rally.
Remember, these are the Israeli Soldiers that Winston Peters, Erica Stanford, David Seymnour, Christopher Luxon want to come to Aotearoa to “Rest and relax” after implementing Apartheid or committing Genocide in Palestine. What ever were they thinking. . .
If you have Any incidents where Israeli soldiers, or other violent Israel supporters, choose to threaten or intimidate you, please call police on 111 immediately, take photos of the criminals and then provide a report to police on the 105 page here.
Aotearoa is Our Home and we do not want these people breaking the law without consequences.
Extricating Myself From Zionism’s Toxic Grip
You can read the story of a journey here.
We know that ideological zionism is forced down the throats of many young Jews as they are growing up. It would be from the cradle to the Grave if some zionists could control all Jews.
Zionism’s Racist, Supremacist Ideology with its Core of Land Theft, Ethnic Cleansing, Apartheid and now Genocide is to create a “Jewish” state in Palestine. With as few Non Jews as possible.. Through expulsion or Genocide.
Then to create a greater Israel by attacking and stealing land in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq and Saudia Arabia.
It is only when Jews start to grow up and can see their way to researching the truth about zionism and its actions in Palestine that young people can start to make clear eyed decisions on zionism.
It can be a decade long journey to finally understand ideological zionism’s true nature.
Even then, some zionists use threats to silence the voice of Jews who stand with Human Rights. One told me that NZ zionist had threatened to “Rip his Family Apart” if he spoke at a Palestinian Human Rights rally. Threats to cold shoulder him and his family at Synagogue. They would organise to have his children shunned in school. Desperate to stop the move towards empathy and humanity.
You can also read the abuse outlined in Marylin Garsons book “Jewish, not zionist”.
When you meet one of our Jewish community who has rejected zionism, shake his or her hand. They have endued a lot taking this decision.

Quotes of the week
Why should these Palestinians, who have lived in Jerusalem for hundreds of years, be evicted from their homes so that Jews from Brooklyn can live in them?
-- Norman Finkelstein
It is highly probable that the bulk of the Jew's ancestors 'never' lived in Palestine 'at all,' which witnesses the power of historical assertion over fact.
-- H. G. Wells
Peace in Palestine is inevitable. The question is how do we make it happen today.
-- Darrell Issa
The heart and mind of every Muslim is affected by whether or not the Israel-Palestine issue is dealt with fairly.
-- Jimmy Carter
“Zionist colonization must either be terminated or carried out against the wishes of the native population. This colonization can, therefore, be continued and make progress only under the protection of a power independent of the native population – an iron wall, which will be in a position to resist the pressure to the native population. This is, in toto, our policy towards the Arabs…”
-- Vladimir Jabotinsky, The Iron Wall, 1923.

Are you able to donate a cup of coffee a month to the campaign?
We will need some serious money to make our campaign as effective as possible. For example, we will need somewhere in the vicinity of $25,000 to bring speakers to New Zealand over the next year and organise large public meetings to help spread the message.
You can help. Are you able to donate a cup of coffee a month to the campaign? In other words, can you afford to make an automatic payment of $5 per month to support the Palestinian struggle? (If you can afford more that would be great!)
