By 'sitting on the fence' did the New Zealand government fail to act to prevent this genocide? Does it have the blood of Gaza on its hands? This documentary is a challenge, that discovers if our govt did anything about it, or just hid behind words of diplomatic platitudes and political rhetoric. Did a lack of action enable Israel? We follow the protest movement calling for stronger sanctions, sending the Israeli ambassador home, speaking out and condemning Israel’s military actions. When New Zealand was put on notice of a plausible genocide, all of these things are required by New Zealand under international law outlined in the UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese’s latest report – The Economy of Genocide. NZ was also obligated to stop all trade, military and economic ties with Israel, stop making parts for smart bombs, stop sharing intelligence, stop sending spy satellites into space, stop the NZ police force contracts with Israeli companies...
